Thank you for inquiring about Department of Music Auditions.   Audition dates for the upcoming Fall Semester have passed.  However, if you have not yet auditioned, and are anticipating becoming a music major next semester you will need to audition and be accepted into the program before you may sign-up for any classes.

GENERAL AUDITION INFORMATION

	Auditioners must have applied to CSUF before the audition.
	An accompanist is provided for vocalists. Instrumentalists desiring an accompanist must bring one to the audition.
	Warm-up rooms are available on the third floor of our building.

Performance Scholarship awards are offered following auditions for students entering the following fall.

Scholarship awards range from modest sums for one or two semesters to full fees for two years. Special funds for strings provide a number of full scholarships for four years.

While excellence of performance, as demonstrated in the audition, is the primary criterion for all scholarships, a fine academic record is influential in the decision-making process.
